Day 6 - Ketchican!
Not too many pictures from Ketchican. We had a really early excursion - Sea Kayaking! - and when we got off the ship, the rain was coming down hard. Ooh Boy, kayaking in the rain!
Actually, buy the time we made it out in the kayaks, which involved about half an hour by bus, then another half hour by Zodiac, it wasn't really raining anymore, although it still looked very menacing.
Kayaking was super fun - although a lot of hard work. It doesn't show up in the pictures, as they were all taken in fairly sheltered areas, but it was pretty windy and pretty rough in some places.
That night was another formal night, plus we had reservations at the Pinnacle Grill, which is a super fancy restaurant on the ship. So we all got dressed up, and Lynda convinced us to get our pictures taken by the official ships photographer, although I never saw the pictures, so who knows how they came out.
